Processing / Recycling
Maltha´s core activity is the recycling of glass waste into clean cullet. So-called recycling schemes, collection companies and other disposers deliver their waste streams directly to Maltha´s specialised locations throughout Europe. Supplying raw materials
Each year Maltha transforms more than 1 million tonnes of glass waste into new raw materials. Through a fully optimised production process, Maltha is able to achieve the highest degree of purity (quality). Our standard portfolio has over 20 types of cullet, sorted by quality, colour and grainsize (amongst other characteristics). Maltha supplies these sustainable raw materials to many glass and glass wool producers, including the world´s largest glass producer, Owens Illinois.
Collection of glass waste
Thanks to intensive collaboration with a large number of renowned logistical partners, Maltha can advise and assist you with regard to collection, transport and the rental of collection facilities (glass bins and containers). Moreover, Maltha offers solutions for the processing of structural and incidental batches of packaging glass and/or flat glass, including complex glass types.
